◆ FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which file formats work?

STL (binary and ASCII), OBJ, PLY, and 3MF — including Bambu Studio project files. Modifier volumes, negative parts, and support blockers in Bambu files are excluded automatically so you see only the printable model.

Do my files get uploaded anywhere?

No. Loading, rendering, recording, and video encoding all run inside your browser tab. The only network request the app ever makes for your account is checking a license key. Unreleased or client-confidential models never leave your machine.

What does the free version include?

Everything — every lighting environment, stage, material, export size, and the ray-traced photo mode. Free exports carry a ModelSpin watermark across the frame; paid tiers remove it.

What's the difference between a single-model unlock and PRO?

A single-model unlock ($3, one-time) removes the watermark for one specific model — identified by the file itself, so re-loading or renaming it keeps the unlock. PRO is a subscription that removes the watermark for every model on up to 5 devices. Both keys go in the same box in the app; it figures out which kind you pasted.

What happens if I cancel PRO?

Exports simply return to the free watermark when the subscription lapses. Nothing else changes and nothing is lost.

Refunds?

Payments run through Lemon Squeezy, and refund requests are honored through them — reply to your receipt email.

What hardware do I need?

Any modern browser handles the standard renderer. The ray-traced photo mode uses your GPU heavily — a recent laptop or desktop graphics chip gets you a photo in seconds; older machines can stick with the standard engine.

Why do my exports fit MakerWorld so well?

Because they're first-class targets: 4:3 and 3:4 — MakerWorld's default listing sizes — are built into the export menu alongside 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16.
